Accessibility from the 19th Century

Bizchut is accompanying and advising Steve Bloomberg, a man who uses a wheelchair, in legal action against the Jerusalem restaurant 1868.  Steve planned to celebrate a family event at the restaurant with his wife and phoned beforehand to clarify whether the location was accessible.  He was told that he should phone in advance so they could prepare a stair lift that would enable him to get down the two sets of stairs at the entrance.  When Steve arrived at 1868, instead of a stair lift he was met by two waiters who proceeded to drag him down the stairs.  Steve was upset by this undignified solution and decided to sue the restaurant on account of their lack of accessibility and misleading information. The claim has been submitted and we are awaiting an update.
